Floor Master Plan Unveiled
Buckingham Orchard
is a new luxury townhome community by The Dearborn Buckingham Group,
Inc. in DuPage County. Conveniently located in northwest Lombard,
near I-355 and North Avenue, the community will be home to 34 townhomes.
Buckingham Orchard offers three floor plans to choose from, including
the totally new Cedar plan. This first floor master bedroom plan
has been very well received by townhome buyers. The ease and convenience
of single level living has been combined with the flexibility and
spaciousness of a townhome.
The first floor
of the Cedar plan is open and bright. The foyer opens onto the two-story
great room. A high half wall with a wood cap separates the great
room from the kitchen. The large open kitchen offers plenty of counter
space and a pantry for dry goods. As an option, the breakfast nook
can be converted into more cabinets. Off the kitchen is the master
suite with a walk in closet and a full bath with a double-bowl vanity
and shower. The first floor also has a powder room and laundry room.
Upstairs, the plan
has a very generous 19-foot by 19-foot family room, perfect for
family gatherings and entertaining. Also upstairs is a second bedroom,
loft, full bath and storage closet. The plan also includes a full
basement and a two car garage.
There are also
several variations to the floor plan so individual buyers can tailor
the design to their needs and style of living. These include adding
a second master suite on the second floor, or even a third master
suite on the second floor. There is also an option to finish a portion
of the basement, bringing the total square footage of the townhome
to over 2,200.
Buckingham Orchard
is just minutes from the employment centers of Oak Brook and Schaumburg
and less than 30 minutes to O'Hare Airport. Residents will enjoy
a wide variety of park and recreational amenities and premier shopping
and dining are also only minutes away.
The townhomes range
in size from 1,650 square feet to 1,790 square feet and include
high level finishes. Some important inclusions are basements, air-conditioning;
two-car garages; two and one-half baths; two to four bedrooms; nine-foot
first floor ceilings; volume ceilings (per plan); brick exterior
accents; ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, and much more. Depending
on the location some of the townhomes have look-out style basements,
bringing more natural light into the lower level.
Pre-grand opening
sales are being conducted on the site at 615 West Pleasant Lane
in Lombard. Prices start at $347,900. The sales office is open Friday
through Tuesday, from noon to 5 p.m.; and by appointment. Closed
